This locket from my exhibition ‘Openings and Closings’ is based on a design for a Japanese paper box. The locket is acid etched on the outside with a leaf pattern and inscribed with poetry by ee cummings on the inside. This locket is now with my good friend Amy – it’s one of my favourites and I’m glad it’s still nearby.
